The Suite Solos Concert of the Bach Brasil series brings a beautiful program with works for violin and cello, with the presence of Diego Biasibetti (baroque cello) and Giovani dos Santos, (baroque violin). In addition to the program with works by Bach, we will have the distinguished presence of the president of the Bach Society Brazil, Gilberto Schwartsmann and comments from the harpsichordist and our musical director Fernando Cordella. DIEGO S. BIASIBETTI, baroque cello

Graduated from (School of Arts - Bremen - Germany) in Baroque Cello with Prof. Viola de Hoog, in Viola da Gamba with Prof. Hille Perl and UFRGS in Coral Regency with Prof. Dr. Joceley Bohrer, had his cello formation started with André Wentz in Caxias do Sul and later with Alexandre Diel.Hochschule für Künste

His appreciation for Ancient Music such as Anatoli Krastev (Bulgaria), Mime Yamahiro (Japan), Gaetano Nasillo (Italy), Juan Manuel Quintana (Argentina / Switzerland), Sérgio Álvares (Brazil / Switzerland), Philippe Pierlot (Belgium) and Mariane Müller (France).led him to attend several Masterclasses

Participated in the recording of the CDs of the , , under the direction of Luis Otávio dos Santos. In March 2009, he participated in the production of the Opera by Francesco Cavalli playing Viola da Gamba and Violone; and in January 2010, with the produced by Claudio Monteverdi's Opera , Vienna, Austria, playing Violone under the musical direction of Christoph Molds. From 2008 to 2009, he was a cello teacher and conductor of the Youth Orchestra in Diepholz - Germany. In 2010 he was assistant conductor of Mto. Manfredo Schmiedt in the OSPA Symphonic Choir. He was a cello teacher at the I, II and III International SESC Festival of Music in Pelotas. He participated in 2011 with the German orchestra on the South American Tour, under the direction of Michael Alexander Willens. He was also a soloist with the Unisinos-Anchieta Orchestra and the UCS Symphony Orchestra, and in August 2014 he was the guest conductor at the 11th Official Concert of the Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra - OSPA. Since 2010, he has served as assistant conductor of Mto. He was conductor of the Opera Project at UFRGS, having directed the operas by Henry Purcell, by Claudio Monteverdi, by Johann Gottfried Conradi and the scenic-musical production Dido and AeneasL'OrfeoThe Beauty and Faithful AriadneMissa do Orfanato (WA Mozart), Times of Loneliness.

His career in Europe is marked as conductor of the Coro in the city of Syke, participation in groups such as , Da CapoConcerto Copenhagen, Die Kölner Akademie, Asfelder Vocal EnsembleBalthasar Neumann Ensemble, Kammer Sinfonie Bremen and Bremer Barock Consort.

He was a solo cello in the extinct Orquestra Unisinos-Anchieta and OSUCS - Symphonic Orchestra of UCS.

He is currently a cello soloist in the Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra and conductor of the Porto Alegre Consort.

 

GIOVANI DOS SANTOS, baroque violin

Giovani dos Santos is one of the most prominent violinists in the southern region of Brazil, standing out in both the modern and baroque violins. Acts in the main orchestras of RS since 2008 and currently integrates the Sphaera Mundi Orchestra, ULBRA Chamber Orchestra and Theatro São Pedro Chamber Orchestra.

He won the FUNDARTE 2010 Young Soloists Contest, invited by Leon Spierer (Berlin Philharmonic Spalla 1963-93) for the Deutsch-Skandinavische Jugend-Philharmonie 2011 in Berlin, full scholarship holder at the Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival 2015 and spalla of the Academic Orchestra of the International SESC Festival of Music in Pelotas in 2013 and 2018.

He began his studies in the modern violin in Santa Cruz do Sul, with the UNISC Orchestra, with Fausto Kothe. He had his Bachelor of Violin started at UFSM under the guidance of Yara Quercia Vieira and finished at UFRGS with Hella Frank and Fredi Gerling. Later, he studied with Emmanuele Baldini (OSESP spalla) in São Paulo and at several music festivals in Brazil.

As a Baroque violinist, he started his search for artistic expression through this instrument under the influence of Rodrigo Calveyra in 2007. He participated in some music festivals specialized in ancient music and private lessons, where he had the guidance of Luís Otávio Santos, Rodolfo Richter, Rebecca Huber, among others . He often integrates and records with chamber music groups directed by Fernando Cordella.
